Research Activities

・Studies on biological functions, biosynthesis, and deficiencies of glycosylphosphatidylinositols (GPIs), a group of glycolipids. Especially, studies on relationships between complement system and GPI, regulatory mechanisms of GPI biosynthesis, and molecular pathogenesis of acquired and inherited GPI deficiencies.
