Center for Infectious Disease Education and Research (CiDER) will conduct a cross-departmental program to promote advanced basic research aimed at overcoming the fundamental causes of infectious diseases.
What's this Program
This program is a cross-departmental CiDER program that promotes cutting-edge basic research aimed at fundamentally overcoming infectious diseases.
Currently, 36 proposals are already underway, and new applications are also being accepted for the start of FY2023.
The research adopted in FY2023 will be conducted not only in the natural sciences, but also in the humanities and social sciences, as part of interdisciplinary research on infectious diseases.

Up to 5 million yen per year, and up to 10 million yen in total over two years.
