Dr. Okada graduated Kyoto University School of Science in 1981 and received his Ph.D. from Osaka University in 1988. He worked as a Research Associate at the Institute for Protein Research in Osaka University and became an Associate professor in 1996 in the same institution. He was appointed current position as a Professor of RIMD in 2000.He serves as Director of RIMD from 2019.
